Exploding Bananas

Yes, you did read the title correctly. Exploding bananas, everywhere.

Doing french self-study this years means I need a really good dictionary for all those little words I don't know when I have no-one to ask.
My mother supplied me with such a dictionary this morning - a dictionary that literally is the size (nevermind weight) of 2 concrete bricks. So, I piled it in my bag, along with all my other books and belongings and headed off for another day of mental exhaustion at school.

My mother also worries about my healthy eating - or more so, the lack of it. I'm not the biggest fan of fruit and vegetables so, to encourage this she always makes me take an eat some fruit to school, and to be honest it works, I always eat what she gives me.
This morning she left me a banana on the table-top, so, as before, in a rush, I threw it in to my bag.

How are these objects connected?
Last period, came french. As I dug around in my bag for the brick of a dictionary I received a bit of a funny smell, followed by very slimey hands...
The dictionary had caused the banana to explode, in my bag.
I'm not sure if you've ever had a banana expolde in your bag but I'll tell so so you neednt bother, that it is the most disgusting this ever. Every school book i had, my glases case, my bottle of water, my phone, my umbrella : covered in mushed banana.
And since I was in a room by myself, I had no tissues, no water, no cloth, nothing. So, i spent half an hour using pieces of paper I found in the bin to scoop the banana from the bottom of my bag and all my books.
Disgusting? yes.

Anyway, on the plus side I have a pretty eventful week...

Saturday - going to Aberdeen to shop and see Edgar Prais with my mum and Joanne
Sunday - studying all day...
Monday - get shouted at for having a crummy timed history essay that I wrote today...
Tuesday - begin packing :]
Wednesday - get my legs waxed in preparation :/ paiinnn
Thursday - get a haircut and see Stuart
Friday - leave to __________ :D

that's right, this time next week I will be farr away, it's great.
However, I'm not saying where, i'm going to make a nice youtube video of my holiday, so you can find out then, unless I write a blog about it first...anyway, I promise you'll find out eventually!

Until next time my children,
God bless all who sail in you,
Melody xo

ps : JOANNE AND ANYONE ELSE WHO KNOWS ME IN REAL LIFE - you already know where I'm going. Don't spoil it by leaving a comment on this blog telling anyone or don't leave a comment on my youtube - in fact just don't write it anywhere on the interweb. grassy arse (thank you in spanish :])

As soon as I got to the large book and a banana for school lunch I knew what was coming. That's why I always keep stuff in separate pockets if it can make a mess, because damned if I won't make that mess, given the chance.
